Founded six years ago through a humble Facebook page and group, Ugo Institute of Igbo Cosmology began as a digital home for spiritual seekers. Today, we’ve grown into a vibrant global community, having guided thousands of people across the world back to the ancient teachings of Ọdịnala.
From the very beginning, our purpose has remained clear: to help each soul remember who they are, where they come from, and why they are here.
At Ugo Institute, we are dedicated to rekindling the sacred flame of Ọdịnala, the spiritual science and indigenous knowledge system of the Igbo people. Meet The Founder
Chief Dr. Mrs. Stella Chibuzor Ebere Biukeme
Dibianwanyi Ugocharacha
fondly known by her sacred title Dibianwanyi Ugocharacha — is the visionary and spiritual mother behind Ugo Institute of Igbo Cosmology. A gifted Dibia, healer, teacher, and cultural preservationist, she carries the rare lineage of spiritual calling from both her paternal and maternal bloodlines — a divine mark that has shaped every step of her life.
Her journey into the path of Ọdịnala was not by convenience, but by divine necessity. After years of unexplained misfortunes, illness, and spiritual unrest, she came to a life-altering realization: her ancestral spirits were calling her home — back to her true path as a vessel of healing, wisdom, and light. It was in answering this call that her life began to transform.
Her full initiation took place in her ancestral village Umuegbe, in the sacred community of Amaokpara. There, she was publicly recognized and spiritually crowned with the revered title “Ugocharacha” — symbolizing a rare and radiant eagle whose light cannot be hidden.
Since then, Dibianwanyi Ugocharacha has dedicated her life to guiding others through their own spiritual awakenings, using her deep knowledge of Afa divination, ancestral healing, Igbo cosmology, and herbal wisdom. Her teachings are not merely intellectual — they are embodied, ancestrally guided, and spiritually charged.
She holds a doctorate and various traditional honors but walks with profound humility, always attributing her success to the guidance of Chi, the ancestors, and the divine forces of nature. Her presence is both grounding and uplifting — a true mother to many on the path.
With deep compassion, clarity, and power, she has tutored thousands, lit sacred shrines, mentored Dibia in training, and continued to serve as a living bridge between the ancient and the emerging.
